ILHÉUS CITY TOUR
On our city tour, visit the São Sebastião Cathedral, Ponto Chic Ice Cream Shop, Ilhéus Municipal Theater, Jorge Amado House, Jorge Amado Quarter, São Jorge Church, Coronel Misael Tavares House, Paranaguá Palace, Handicraft Market and chocolate shop . The tour also includes the Bar Vesúvio, which gained international fame with the romance of Gabriela Cravo e Canela, and the Bataclan cabaret, now transformed into a restaurant and cultural space.
CACAU FARM
Visiting a cocoa farm in the region takes us to the past and makes us feel a local tranquility, remitting several stories of colonels, jagunços, loves and antics that are very well represented in the works of Jorge Amado, the cultural symbol of the Ilhéus region. Let’s get to know every bit of a farm full of history. Come for a small trail in the shade of the Atlantic Forest or that allows the process of growing cocoa from planning to the post-harvest process, including, of course, a tasting. An unforgettable tour in nature, comprising a culture of the ancient cocoa colonels and cocoa-makers of today.
PRAIA DOS MILIONÁRIOS
From Ilhéus, head towards Praia dos Milionários. The beach has a bar and restaurant structure, normally used by the local population and located just 20 minutes from the historic center. An extensive strip of golden and fine sand opening coconut trees, in addition to large tents and showers. The calm waters provide refreshing baths.
ITACARÉ
A charming little town of Itacaré, located right in the middle of the south coast of Bahia, has a unique geological formation in northeastern Brazil. Book a tour of the urban beaches of Itacaré (Concha, Resende, Costa, Ribeira and Tiririca. After enjoying one of the city’s beautiful beaches, a short walk between the shops in the Historic Center closed or the day in a pleasant way. Ending the tour with a stop at any Serra Grande viewpoint, a wonderful and unforgettable place to photograph.
SERRA GRANDE
Leaving Ilhéus on the Pé de Serra beach with optional stop at the Fábrica de Chocolate Caseiro store. Pé de Serra Beach is characterized by its fine sand and calm waters, with great extension it is great for walks and sports by the sea. After enjoying the sea, follow a light, short and lush landscape trail to a waterfall in Tijuípe. We ended the tour with a stop at the Serra Grande viewpoint, a wonderful and unforgettable place to photograph. After free time at the waterfall, return to Ilhéus with an optional stop at Casa da empada.
