MORRO DE SÃO PAULO AND BOIPEBA

Morro de São Paulo is the right place for who wishes to have fun, know beautiful beaches and have many activities options, day or night. The young simple and relaxed atmosphere is conquering. The island with its small village enchants its visitors all year long with options for all tastes like natural pools, zip-line, mud bath, speedboat and a spectacular sunset. There are five bays in a sequence forming beaches with coconut trees on rocks out to the sea.

Day 1 We’ll have a day to get to know the beautiful beaches of Morro de São Paulo and its historical sites like the church of Nossa Senhora da Luz, the lighthouse which trails is surrounded by the jungle and offers the most beautiful viewpoint of the beaches. Many different activities are possible: sports, strolling, diving, hiking trails, go shopping and enjoying the most precious landscapes. The crystal clear water and reefs make it a perfect place to snorkel. It’s an idyll scenario filled with natural beauties that offer great nightlife as well. Before the party, there are many options of restaurants to savor a delicious meal typical of Bahia’s gastronomy.

Day 2 We’ll do an incredible excursion on the beaches and tourist sites of Morro de São Paulo and Boipeba. We’ll take a speedboat to Praia do Encanto and to the pools of Garapuá, following to Moreré, where coral reef forms natural pools of crystal clear still water in the middle of the sea. Next stop is Praia da Cueira, in Boipeba. On the beach there is the hut of Seu Guido a famous local fisherman who has been selling lobster for years. We can continue with the speedboat or we can hike a trail from Cuera until Boca da Barra through the rain forest passing by the beach of Tassimirim. We’ll go to Cairú through Rio do Inferno, crossing the mangrove reservation. We’ll stop at the town of Canavieiras to visit an oyster farm and do oyster tasting. We’ll get back to Morro de São Paulo from the inside of the island of Tinharé, through the mangrove arriving at the per in time to enjoy the sunset.
